Just wrapped up our Brooks & Dunn "Tequila" music video shoot!

One i Productions was recently invited to enter a contest to create a music video for Brooks & Dunn’s song “Tequila” from their latest album, Cowboy Town.
The contest was brought to the Nashville based internet video company, StudioNow by artist management company, Spalding Entertainment. Contestants were by invitation only and we were one of the few who had the privilege to participate! The above video is the result of having only 1 week to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver since we had to be in New York for another job the next week!

But it was a success!! Jamie Cline, our lead actor, did a wonderful job. Being that this is a music video, there are no speaking roles. However, Jamie is always able to perform well, even without speaking, and gave me exactly what I asked of him. I always love working with him!

We had several other actors that did a great job. As a Director, my work goes smoothly when I work with people who follow direction well. I'm so thankful that the people I worked with on this gig where very professional and talented. Then there are the locals who frequent the bar.... I could make a movie based on these characters! They all have such interesting stories to tell, and great funny personalities to boot!

All I know is that we had purchased a large Tequila bottle for the shoot. However, after the shoot, when we went to take the bottle home, we found it empty! We also had a large jug of apple juice for the 'tequila' shots since we would be shooting for about an hour. However, the sneaky bar customers who participated in the shoot, told the bartender to pour the real thing at every take! LOL! I guess since they weren't getting paid, they wanted to get something out of it! I was wondering why they were so happy at the end of the shoot! Anyway, they all did a great job!

*None of the actual actors drank until AFTER the shoot... or so I was told. :->
